Five Step Process

This forms the basis of how we will get started and formulates our road map for our
ongoing journey. Once we have covered off the Five Step Process, we move into
the fun part of implementing the processes around your business and making it happen!

1. BUSINESS OVERVIEW

We take an in depth look at what exactly your business does. We will look at your products or services and see how relevant they are in your market segment or niche.

We will look to see if there are any changes that need to make to your offerings to give you an edge over your competitors. We will look at what your point of difference or unique selling proposition is. If you do not have a point of difference in the market, we will create one.

2. GOALS AND VISION

The process starts with getting clear on your vision. I help you identify where you want your business to be in the future. We work together to create ambitious, but achievable goals that will form the framework for your vision.

These goals are usually a mix of personal and business goals that both challenge you and help guide you in your decision-making process. As your business grows your goals will change. Overtime we can revisit your goals and your vision to make sure your business is still working for you.

3. NUMBERS

The devil is in the details. We will examine your numbers together in detail. I will make sure you understand what your numbers mean and together we can decide what numbers in your business deserve most of your focus.

The numbers will give us a baseline to design a system that allows you to have a rolling sales and cash flow forecast. You will be able to plan ahead for the good times and the bad times. We will review your Profit and Loss report and your balance sheet to identify the strengths and weaknesses of your business as well as to discover hidden opportunities.

4. THE CUSTOMER AND MARKETING

Each business has a different approach to marketing. Some businesses market constantly while others never market. We will review your marketing efforts and work on creating and implementing a marketing plan that achieves your goals and attracts more customers.

We will create a custom marketing plan that helps you get where you want to go faster.

5. OPERATIONS

It doesn’t matter if you a solo business owner, or if you have a team of 25 people or more, it is critical that you deliver your products and services efficiently.

We will look at everything from IT, hiring staff, outsourcing, training, customer information, telecommunications, distribution (if applicable), and a company procedures manual. If you ever want to take a holiday or if you get sick, you need to build a business that can function efficiently without you for at least short periods of time.
